Rehabilitation and extension of the Bè Canal

Solicited by AGETUR-Togo to realise the extension and the rehabilitation works of the Canal of Bè, Inros Lackner was involved from the design phase up until the construction and site supervision. 

The works were comprised of following activities: 

  • Rehabilitation and protection of the canal banks, by angled retaining walls on a total length of 1,100m.
  • Extension of the Bè canal towards the East for the drainage of a swampy area. 
  • Construction of a new canal underpass for an improved connection between the Bè canal and the swampy area in the East.
