Landscape management compensation measures
The landscape management plan for the upgrading of the Nuthestrasse highway between Potsdam and Berlin is extensive. The ecological compensation measures for the first section completed included the planting of trees and bushes and the intensive greening of retaining walls with climbing plants and shrubs. A total of 363 avenue trees were planted in various parts of Potsdam and the surrounding area.
