Lomé Bypass Road, Togo
As part of the implementation of urban measures, a greening programme has been executed in the Bè neighbourhood of the city of Lomé. The primary object of this programme was the improvement in life quality for the surrounding neighbourhoods. As a result, and with the aim to restore the lakes water level and improve the quality of life in the neighbourhood following measures where executed:
- Landscaping and planting of regional trees and shrubs
- Revetment of main roads and side roads
- Construction of a drainage system
- Construction of a lakeside promenade and public resting areas.
