Gamuda Villa
Hanoi. Vietnam

Gross floor area: 800 m2, 3 stories and 1 basement

The ground floor is a sequence of three spaces facing a private pool. The idea is to create a mix between a classic, modern, ‘Parisian’ atmosphere of a luxury apartment, facing a tropical pool. Blue was chosen to match the color of the pool. The basement contains the man’s world, the woman’s world and the son’s world, in the form of a ‘man cave’, wardrobe and gym. The lobby has timber ceiling structure to reflect the traditional houses of this area. The dining room has a vaulted ceiling and contains a cellar and kitchen. The double height living room on the first floor has a very generous bookcase that also houses the television. This room connects to the main bedroom and guest bedroom on this level. In the main bedroom a luxurious atmosphere is achieved with light curtains and shutters. Green tints ensure a calm atmosphere. The ceiling contains a patterned texture for sensory interest.
